Summer activities

We are excited to once again bring our Summer workshops to Barnes and Clapham Junction along with the drop in classes for younger children.

The Moana inspired workshop involves stagecraft, arts and crafts and dance and finishes with a small performance for the parents.

The drop in classes are similar to our weekly classes.

You don't need to be a member of Butterfly Ballet to attend either the workshop or the drop in classes, they are open to all.

Exam Results !

We are so proud of everyone - out of our Spring session of exams, over 60% of them were Distinctions and the rest very High Merits. We have been handing out certificates and medals to our very clever students who have all done so well. One particular shout out goes to Lauren who took her Grade 1 and Grade 2 on the same day getting Distinction in both!

Alice in Wonderland!

We are excited to announce that we are doing Alice in Wonderland as our bi-annual show this year. Cue wonderful characters, costumes and an enormous dose of creativity!

The show is on Sunday July 2nd and pupils in Year 1 and above will take part.

Summer Activities

The workshop this year is Peter Pan and take place in Barnes, Putney, Wimbledon and Clapham Junction and drop in classes take place in Barnes and Wimbledon.

RAD Primary exams

Following in the footsteps of our successful Grade 1'ers, the Primary student pupils, from Clapham Junction and Barnes visited the Royal Academy of Dance for their first ever Ballet exam.    They worked enormously hard in the lead up to the exam and absolutely loved the experience.
Well done to them all!

We were enormously proud of our Grade 1 pupils who all received Distinction in their RAD Exams.

Spring Term summary

At last Spring has sprung and as we enjoy the Easter holidays we look back to last term and what a successful one it was.

We had lots of new children joining and look forward to them growing with Butterfly Ballet. Many of our classes are nearly full so we are looking to put additional classes in so everyone can experience the Butterfly Ballet magic! Do enquire about availability and remember that a free trial is offered at any point of the term and we offer a sibling discount should any younger sisters or brothers want to join!

We had our Putney Grade 1 pupils enter into their exam this term at the Royal Academy of Dance.
It is always a great thrill for them to go to this venue in Battersea where the walls are literally steeped with history. I am very proud of how hard the children worked towards their exam, they knew their work perfectly.

Next term we have lots of Primary pupils taking their first exam and we look forward to preparing them for this.
